| How much freedom do you feel an Owner should allow his Captain in terms of hiring crew? I think that an owner has the right to decide which crew is working on his yacht but he should also consider the opinion of the captain which has to work and life together with the crew 24 hours. |

| What do you do when you disagree with the Owner? I try to explain him my seight of the problem and try to show him other, if possible official, opinions about this problem. |

| How do you handle conflicts between crew members? I will discuss conflicts with each crew member seperatly and after this together with them to find a solution. |

| How much down time do you feel a yacht needs each year, to ensure a safe and happy crew? A yacht with permanent crew should allow the crew to take theire yearly agreed holidays (generally one month). Usually at this time the maintenance can be still done. |
