I gave up a career in the Fortune 500 to be in yachting/ Estate Management. I enjoy the challenge of mixing my yachting and business talents

Describe what type of situation on board you feel you would fit in best? Project Lead/ Captain, my preivous experience in business/ yachting world has prepared me for my next position

How much freedom do you feel an Owner should allow his Captain in terms of hiring crew? 

Full control of deck....input from crew is always important but the buck stop with me.

What do you do when you disagree with the Owner? 

State disagreements, open up for discussion......

How do you handle conflicts between crew members? 

Unless it envolves thieft or violence, let them resolve it with the understanding if they don't I will....

How much down time do you feel a yacht needs each year, to ensure a safe and happy crew? 

Ideally, durning the yard time so everyone has enough, how much? no more than 3 weeks....on busy charter...1-2 days every 2-3 weeks

How much time is the maximum time that should pass between emergency procedure drills on board? 

3 weeks

What do you feel is the most important quality for a successful Captain to have? 

Leadership....
