I'm a great Team player and enjoy getting involved. Although I feel most comfortable in the Galley environment.

How much input do you feel an owner or guest should have in menu planning? 

I feel the owners or guests should have as much or as little input as the feel fit. If an Owner said to me "Suprise me" I would see it as an exciting challenge.

 

How do you organize yourself so that you have all the provisions you need, for any meal, at any given time? 

It is always good to have a well stocked store in case of emergency.

Then I would usually seek out Fresh ingredients for day to day, if possible.

What do you feel is the most important quality for a successful Chef or Cook to have? 

Flair, Enthusiasm, Patience, organised and good communication skills

How do you handle constructive criticism towards your food? 

I welcome it.

How do you feel about preparing special meals for crew with certain dietary restrictions? 

Crew are very important, i think food is a key part of keeping them motivated and healthy. Long and work intensive hours demands a healthy diet.

How often is it okay to prepare the same meal for guests? 

Only If requested.

How do you feel about preparing only crew meals? 

Happy if to if that's what the job demands.

I do however enjoy making a working relationship with the chef, and learning new techniques.

How much input do you feel you should have regarding provisioning and organizing the galley? 

As much or as little as the chef needs.
