| General |
| Why did you leave your most recent position? I left MY Asha as it was a seasonal position, and the season had ended. I returned the following year to work on board the same vessel, however, I did not return for the third season as I decided to take a year off to complete my studies. Now that I have completed my studies, I wish to return to the yachting industry. |
| What kind of hobbies do you have, or what do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy all sports, such as tennis, golf, soccer, surfing and watersports. I love reading, and cooking in my spare time. I am a very active person: I love exerise, and anything that makes me work hard or pushes me past my limits. |
| Is the yachting industry a career for you, or more of a sabbatical?
The yachting industry is the career path that I would like to follow. I can see myself progessing and growing further, becoming a chief stew one day soon. I have been privileged enough to have enjoyed two seasons on board motor yachts as a stewardess, and would like to continue this passion further. |
| Describe what type of situation on board you feel you would fit in best? I would do well in a situation where I am given instructions only once, and where I can also use my own initiative to do something properly and thoroughly. I work well under pressure, so if there were perhaps time constraints or urgent matters to attend to, I would easily be able to get the job done. |

| What can you do to ensure that guest service remains the primary focus of your job, even when they are difficult or demanding? It is very easy to become despondent, or frustrated with difficult guests on board. However, this is to be expected when you are in this industry! Before entering into a new job, I would have already prepared myself for any difficult situation that may arise, because I know that I have to patience to deal with it. I know that this is the career path that I am willing to follow, and I would not let anything else compromise this. |
| How do you feel the Service, Cabins, and Laundry duties should be shared between the interior crew? I beleive that the interior crew should each be assigned certain duties. This way, it keeps the routine for the crew a lot more efficient and consistent; for the guests, they know what to expect and will not get any unexpected surprises. |
| What can you do to ensure that the guests are enjoying themselves, without asking them? Creativity and innovation can go a long way. For example, coming up with themed evenings for dinners etc, it will give the guests something to look forward to. By coming up with interesting ideas and new ways of entertaining the guests, they will always be kept pleasantly surprised by new activities. |
