General Why did you leave your most recent position? Because I am to adventurous to live in South Africa my entire life, I want a new challenge in life. What kind of hobbies do you have, or what do you like to do in your free time?  I enjoy body bording, reading, learning new languages, learning anything new, watching any form of football (soccer). Is the yachting industry a career for you, or more of a sabbatical?  Most definately a career. Describe what type of situation on board you feel you would fit in best? I would have to start as Deck hand and learn, work myself up by proving myself, idealy want to get to chief mate because my greatest asset is co-ordinting. DeckHand What do you feel is the primary responsibility of the Deckhand, aside from the exterior maintenance of the vessel? To learn as much as possible so u can move up in the system. What do you feel is the most important quality for a successful Deckhand to have? Must be able to follow orders precisely without talking back to any superior, but must understand all safety laws.
