| Why did you leave your most recent position? My most recent position on a 47m Palmer Johnson was only ever a winter job as is was stewardessing not deck. |

Im from cornwall so I enjoy water sports, especially surfing, althoguh I'm not very good at it. Love being outdoors and keeping active, swiming, cycling, walking, exploring new places. Im very keen to learn to fish as I've always enjoyed frsh sea food, and think it woyld be amazing to present freshly caught meals to guests. |
| Is the yachting industry a career for you, or more of a sabbatical?
A career, definatly. Im not a quitter, I give everything and try my hardest to make whatever im doing a plesure instead of a chore, and from the day work and otehr positions I've held over the last 18 months, Im sure once I get onto the right boat with the right crew Im going to thrive in a career in yachting. |
| Describe what type of situation on board you feel you would fit in best? After being in the hospitality industry for almost 8 years, Im sure i would slot strait into a stewardess position, but I would like to broaden my horizons and go for a more deck orientated position, gaining the knowlege and skills i would need to complete all the necessary qualifications and corses to work my way up to bosun, first mate, and eventually skipper. |

| DeckHand |
| What do you feel is the primary responsibility of the Deckhand, aside from the exterior maintenance of the vessel? Keeping the exterior on the boat looking pristine, tender driving and knowledge of water toys. Line handling, assisting with docking and leaving port. |
| What do you feel is the most important quality for a successful Deckhand to have? hard working, keen to learn and optimize new skills, good eye for detail. |
| Steward(ess) |
| What can you do to ensure that guest service remains the primary focus of your job, even when they are difficult or demanding? Im very clear headed and easy going, enjoy ensuring guests have the best experience possible from their stay, I like to think Im very helpful and would do my best to assist guests with whatever they want and need. |
| How do you feel the Service, Cabins, and Laundry duties should be shared between the interior crew? Ideally all rolls should be shared out equally, but I suppose it does make it easier if there is one stew specificly for each area and then help out wherever else is needed. |
| What can you do to ensure that the guests are enjoying themselves, without asking them? Make sure that any refreshments and amenities they may require are close at hand. Be close enough that if they do want anything surplus then I can be of assistance strait away, but not too close that I may disturb them. |
