Why did you leave your most recent position? 

I was working in Bermuda as a restaurant manager. The immigration rules in Bermuda only allow for 6years on work permits, so I had to leave. 

What kind of hobbies do you have, or what do you like to do in your free time?  

Swimming, novice diver, skiing, travelling

Is the yachting industry a career for you, or more of a sabbatical?  

A new career, something different that I'm excited to get in to.

Describe what type of situation on board you feel you would fit in best? 

I feel that I am a very friendly person, so I think I would fit in in any situation. My background is in restaurant management, so I am used to doing more than what is expected of me and I am always willing to pitch in where needed.

What can you do to ensure that guest service remains the primary focus of your job, even when they are difficult or demanding? 

Difficult guests are a regular occurrence in the restaurant industry. I always try to ensure I can get them whatever they need and if it is absolutely not possible, I will compromise to the best of my abilities.  I am always willing to work through demands or difficulties.

How do you feel the Service, Cabins, and Laundry duties should be shared between the interior crew? 

According to seniority/ job, but also if a schedule can be decided on likes and dislikes.

What can you do to ensure that the guests are enjoying themselves, without asking them? 

Pay attention to body language. If they seem to be unhappy or bored, I would find an activity to entertain them.
