General Why did you leave your most recent position? i wanted to experience different fishing areas and a new industry based around motor yachts What kind of hobbies do you have, or what do you like to do in your free time?  i am a very keen professional fisherman and also a open water diver but i enjoy all watersport activitys. i am also a very keen hunter for deer and wild boar i also played rugby and football Is the yachting industry a career for you, or more of a sabbatical?  yachting career is definitely for me as i have been working on boats since i was 15 years old.my main passion has been big game fishing but now i would like to share my knowledge with others and help in ensuring that other people have enjoyable times fishing Describe what type of situation on board you feel you would fit in best? i believe i would fit into a deckhand or lead deckhand position very well as i have experience of 10 years of training and running smaller charter and private vessels. DeckHand What do you feel is the primary responsibility of the Deckhand, aside from the exterior maintenance of the vessel? i believe that organisation is a main key for running a safe and happy boat and communication through out a crew so that everyone is on the same wave length and knows what they should be doing.good manners and easily adaptable is also a must What do you feel is the most important quality for a successful Deckhand to have? a general understanding for other crew and respect for everyone from captain to junior crew. everyone may need help from time to time and that is what keeps a boat happy and things running smoothly
