JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Function

Ultimately responsible for the interior of the boat, for the purpose of providing superior hospitality service to meet the owner’s expectations.  Excellent hostess and managerial skills, creative flair.  Training Stewardess(es) under his/her supervision.  Directly responsible to the Captain.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the every day smooth running of the interior of the boat, laundry, food and beverage service and cleanup, yacht interior cleaning and maintenance including schedules for rotational duties, proficient with exterior lines and fenders.
2. Ensuring that all aspects of the interior are organized, orderly, and maintained.
3. Liaising with the Captain and Chef as to the provisions required when their respective areas are overlapping; wine and liquors, stationary supplies etc
4. Creating personal performance evaluations for crew under her/his supervision.
5. Showing a positive, high-energy, can-do attitude in all situations.
6. All steward/ess accounting, budgeting and provisioning to maintain supplies to cover guest usage.

Qualifications

• Previous Stewardess experience on Charter and Private vessels.
• Experience and comfortable with bartending, cocktails, silver service.  Maintenance and care of valuable artwork, silks, china, crystal and linens, woodwork and marbles.
• Willingness to work long and exhaustive hours to achieve the goals required by the position.
• Professional approach to all situations onboard.
• Clean drivers license, international recommended.
• STCW 95, Advanced First Aid, CPR, Automated External Defibrillator or higher Medical Training.
