What do Charter Yacht
Owners Want? |
|
| Most share four top priorities: |
|
~ the highest price attainable for their vessel
~ the least inconvenience in management of the details
~ frequent communication to keep informed through
each charter booking
~ honest, diligent effort on their behalf |
| |
What’s most important to you? |
| |
Why should you list your yacht for charter? |
Yacht ownership costs money, and while most vessels don’t necessarily make a sizable profit chartering, it is perfectly feasible to offset your expenses to a large degree. Further, registering your yacht as a charter business could lead to potential tax deductions. What’s more, your crew will be more stimulated, better experienced, and likely to stay longer. |

|
| Why do you need a Charter Marketing/Central Agency? |
Without a Central Agent, most Retail Brokers are unwilling to recommend their charter clients, due to the fact that there is no neutral Escrow Agent to protect their clients’ interests, and no one to protect their own interests. Additionally, yacht owners are not allowed to list their vessels on the three major databases that the Retail Brokerage community uses to source available yachts for their clients, thus eliminating a huge source of potential inquiries and bookings.
